ABOUT GOTHICROSIE

I am Gothicrosie. I've been a Disney blogger since 2016 and I'm also a Los Angeles native.​ I have developed a reputation for making sure what I post is accurate and true. I don't post rumors and will correct things as soon as I am made aware of the issue. Being an honest and real person brings me to do things that other Disney bloggers do not do. This project is one of them.

When the fires ravaged Los Angeles I was overcome by this need to do something. There were reports of many families staying at the three Disneyland hotels and others in the surrounding area after being evacuated. One of the things I kept thinking about, besides they have lost absolutely everything, was that they no longer had their go-to outfits. No ears, no spirit jersey, and no Loungefly bag to go to the parks with and to also have lost everything they owned, it all broke my heart. ​

 

I wanted to do something but I didn't know how until I came across the LA Lost Stuffy Project (IG: @la_lost_stuffy_project) who are replacing lost stuffys to children affected by the fires. Then it clicked and I created the "Fairy Gothmother Project" to help those who have been affected by the fires and who have lost their essential Disney park visit gear. My hope is I can help a few families with the magic of Disneyland by replacing some of what they have lost.​

 

My heart goes out to everyone affected by these fires. I sincerely thank all the first responders, firefighters, and teams from Canada, Mexico, and our surrounding neighboring states. Your sacrifice is most appreciated by me and by all of Los Angeles.
